6 июля губернатор области Анатолий Артамонов провел совещание по итогам открытого городского конкурса проектов строительства Дворца спорта и молодежи на месте стадиона «Центральный» в Калуге, сообщает управление по работе со СМИ администрации губернатора области.
Рассматривались четыре варианта архитектурных решений, авторами которых выступили калужские, московские и воронежские разработчики.
По итогам совещания ни один из конкурсных проектов не получил единогласного одобрения. Конкурс будет продолжен. По мнению губернатора, необходимо привлечь к участию в нем международные проектные организации, а также изучить опыт строительства крупных спортивных объектов в Татарстане и Сочи.
В ходе обсуждения глава региона предложил включить в проект Дворца спорта и молодежи два важных для Калуги объекта — пятидесятиметровый бассейн с установкой для прыжков в высоту и ледовую арену с возможностью ее трансформации под другие виды спорта. Для размещения легкоатлетического манежа с круговой дорожкой и трибунами он рекомендовал площадку в сквере Волкова.
Анатолий Артамонов также обратил внимание на важность гармоничного объединения в единый комплекс будущего дворца и здания Концертного зала. «Важно построить объект, за который нам потом не было бы стыдно», — подчеркнул он.
Завершить разработку концепции нового комплекса планируется к концу текущего года.
