18 сентября губернатор Анатолий Артамонов принял участие в пресс-конференции по случаю объявления испанской компанией «Гестамп» и российской «Северсталь» о завершении проекта расширения производства на совместном предприятии в Калуге, сообщает управление по работе со СМИ администрации губернатора области.

По словам президента «Гестамп» Франциско Рибераса, новое штамповочное производство не имеет равных в Европе по своим техническим возможностям, а используемые инновационные разработки направлены на сокращение веса транспортных средств и повышение их безопасности. На заводе открыто дополнительно 170 новых рабочих мест. В настоящее время здесь трудятся около 400 человек. Продукция предприятия поставляется на автозаводы области и других регионов.
Положительно оценивая реализацию данного проекта, Анатолий Артамонов отметил, что Калужская область заинтересована в развитии высокотехнологичных производств с современной организацией труда, в особенности — основанных на эффективном партнерстве иностранных и российских компаний. «Мы будем всячески поддерживать такой бизнес и способствовать его успехам», — подчеркнул он.
